What makes a perfect pair of cycling sunglasses? Lightweight? Anti-fogging? Lens Clarity? Cool looks? The Spectro has it all.
The Koo Spectro is high-performance eyewear, specifically designed with speed-chasers and record breakers, road riders, and triathletes in mind. It is available in 5 different lens colors for varying lighting conditions, and 100% made in Italy.
A standout feature of these shades is the Zeiss anti-reflective technology, which greatly improves lens efficiency. The coating eliminates reflections from the front and back surfaces of the lenses meaning your eyes receive the most light possible, improving contrast and definition and reducing eye strain.
The Black/Red and the Green/White versions have a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 23%. The Black/Turquoise and the White/Silver versions have a VLT of 11% and the Bonze/Black version has a VLT of 12%.
Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is the amount of light that reaches your eyes through your lenses. Measured as a percentage, VLT is affected by the color and thickness of your lenses, the material they're made of, and the coating or coatings they have on them. The higher the percentage, the better the sunglasses do in low light conditions. The lower the percentage, the better the shades do in the bright sun.
The Spectros even stay put in the roughest terrain due to anti-slip temple inserts for added grip and comfort, plus a soft rubber nose-pad with two adjustable positions for a customized fit. An extra nose bridge will also come as standard in the packaging.
